Explore Your Passion!
Our mission is to help children discover their passions, explore new ideas, and grow their knowledge and skills through engaging and interactive online courses. We've created a range of exciting courses designed to inspire and challenge students at every level while fostering critical thinking and collaboration skills.
Current Course Offerings Summer 2023
Our summer intensives are designed to provide maximum learning in a short amount of time. Taught by certified experts, these courses meet for 2 hours every day for one full week (Monday to Friday). We offer two different time slots (9 am or 2 pm CT) during the following weeks: June 26-30, July 10-14, July 17-21, and July 24-28.
Teen Lit
(Grades 6-8)
Are you a fan of young adult fiction? Do you love diving into the exciting and often tumultuous world of teenage emotions and experiences? Then Teen Lit is the course for you! Dive into 1 of 3 novels dealing with evolving relationships and read alongside peers and independently throughout the week.
Upper Elementary Lit
(Grades 3-5)
Explore some of the most fun and exciting books that have captured the imaginations of children around the world. This summer we'll dive into these mystery-themed novels and read alongside peers and independently throughout the week.
Around the World in 5 Days!
(Grades 3-5 and 6-8)
Join us for a whirlwind tour of the globe that will take you from the bustling streets of Berlin to the tranquil beaches of Bali, and everywhere in between.
Greek Mythology
(Grades 3-5 and 6-8)
Step into the magical world of Greek Mythology and uncover the stories of gods, goddesses, heroes, and monsters!
Marine Biology
(Grades 3-5 and 6-8)
Dive into the fascinating world of Marine Biology! In this course, you will explore the mysteries of the ocean and the incredible creatures that call it home.
Dinosaur Studies
(Grades 3-5 and 6-8)
In this course, we'll journey back in time to explore the fascinating creatures that once roamed the earth and understand better what the world looked like during this time period.
Financial Assistance
Project Explore: Kids! is committed to providing enriching experiences to all students and understand cost can be a barrier to access. We have a limited number of scholarships available per course and will be evaluating applications on a first-come, needs-based basis. Families who qualify for free-reduced lunch can complete this application form prior to registering. You will be notified via email if your request has been approved and have 5 days to accept and purchase a course with the given reduced price or free registration code before your invitation will be closed and we will reach out to the next student. Deadline to submit is Friday, June 16.
Key Requirements
Electronic Device: This is an online program, so your child will need to be able to access course content via Google Classroom and connect to Microsoft TEAMS for live instruction on either a laptop, iPad, or other tablets compatible with these platforms. Connecting to the course via phone may not provide the enriching experience intended by the course.
Gmail Access: We use Google Classroom which requires students to log in using a Gmail account. Your child may use a parent/guardian account, a school account, or their own personal Gmail account. If they do not have one of these, please consider creating one for the duration of the course in order to access materials easily during class. Ensure your child knows how to log in prior to joining their first class.
Environment: Please ensure your child has a distraction-free space they can engage in during the class and they have access to headphones if necessary. Your child should be ready to share and participate with cameras ON in this dynamic learning environment.
